The Ahi tuna bite has been hot the last two days. Ahi are giant yellowfin tuna over 100 lbs and are one of the hardest fighting fish in the ocean. On a 3/4 day, Tuesday, August 7, we landed a nice Ahi for Carl. He is a crew member on a charter boat on the east coast and was lucky enough to land this nice Ahi on August 7 while fishing on High Noon.
Then today, August 8, while we had some folks off a cruise ship that stopped in Kona. Here is a nice Ahi landed today with that group.
