Fishing Tip / Report from The King Fisher Fly Shop.
We’ll say it again, mornings and evenings are where it’s at. Flows are nice, and it’s full-on summer fishing. We are seeing spruce moths (still), hoppers, golden stones, and caddis hatches in the evening. Stimulators, chew toys, PMX’s, and Bugmeisters have been knocking it out of the park. Water walkers have been working the best for goldens and nocturnal stoneflies. Water temps are still in the ” safe zone”, but another heat wave is on the way. Sparkle minnows, Aztec buggers, mojo minnows, and sculpzillas have been working well for streamers.
HATCHES: Hoppers, spruce moths, caddis, goldens, and PMD’s
