My entire life I have always been taught that nothing is out of reach if you truly want it and put everything you have into reaching that goal. Growing up in Central Arkansas I was surrounded by many outdoor opportunities which eventually led to the deep desire to eventually become a full time professional angler.
I recently graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Environmental Biology. I have since began to focus all my efforts on the FLW Tour and Rayovac Series.
I have a deep support system consisting of family, friends, and a set of truly amazing companies. I pride myself on being humble and always learning from both the people I meet within the sport and the events themselves.
Like many people, I also realize the great importance of passing on the love of fishing to the next generation and enjoy taking any chance to spread the excitement of the outdoors to the younger generation, just as it was to me.

Crappie USA was formed in 1996 to purchase “Crappiethon” from Johnson Worldwide Associates.
Purpose?
To establish and expand a family-oriented, cost effective and competitive arena for amateur and semi-pro crappie anglers as the foundation to promote and market products and services.
Why the Crappie Market?
Crappie/Panfish anglers are identified by the latest National Survey of Fishing by the Federal Fish and Wildlife agency as the largest freshwater fishing segment in America – 14.2 million. Representing 25% of the total freshwater market, these anglers spend an average of 27 days annually in pursuit of their favorite specie versus the next closest specie at 15 days. In my attempt to learn more about bass fishing I sometimes felt overwhelmed with all the info that I was reading and trying to process.
I decided to start a site where those that are in search of learning some of the basics of bass fishing can find it in one place rather than jumping around from site to site trying to absorb the wealth of information that is available but is sometimes geared towards the more experienced, maybe full time angler.
