Fishing Report by TW's Bait and Tackle

In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:
Avon reported Puppy Drum and Buxton had Bluefish and Spanish. Bluefish and Pompano were caught in Frisco area. Sea Mullet, Flounder, Pompano and Bluefish were on the north beaches.
The Annual Nags Head Fishing Tournament ended yesterday. I have no news this morning as of yet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Stripers, bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Nice Blues, size Spanish, Pompano and small Trout.
Nags Head: Giant Spanish.
Jennette’s: Pompano, Sea Mullet, Black Drum, Spanish, Spot and Trout.
Outer Banks: Pompano, Spot Bluefish and Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers are decking nice large Spanish, Bluefish and releasing Red Drum. Inshore had Spanish, Flounder, Sea Mullet and releasing Red Drum as well.

Offshore Boats Report:
Offshore filled their boxes with Yellowfin and Blackfin. Also had White and blue Marlin releases

The winds are NE at 11 and the water temp is 79 degrees. Cloudy, breezy, choppy Ocean.
