Fishing Tip / Report from The King Fisher Fly Shop

Happy, happy times up on The Blackfoot right now. The flows have been steady at the 1400cfs mark and the fish are chowing. Fishing sub surface has been really good, but the afternoons have provided good opportunities for dry fly fishing. Goldenstones are still the bug of choice. Yellow sallies, caddis, and PMD’s have also been getting some good looks. For nymphs use rubber legs, MacGruber nymphs, CDC p-tails, hares ears, purple princes, and Sally nymphs. For streamers use sex dungeons, sparkle minnows, and sculpzillas.
HATCHES: baetis, caddis, golden stones, yellow sallies
