Fishing Tip / Report from The King Fisher Fly Shop

Happy times up on The Blackfoot as it continues to drop and clear by the day. Dry fly fishing has been GOOD. Be ready with caddis, drakes, and goldenstones as the trout shift their appetite from salmonflies. Fishing a dry dropper rig with a salmonfly/goldenstone on top has been a good searching set up. Drop a prince nymph, rubber legs, CDC pheasant tail, pearl green lightning bug, or yellow sally nymphs. For streamers try head banger sculpins, sculpzillas, Big Horn buggers, wedge heads, and meat whistles.
