Fishing Tip / Report from The King Fisher Fly Shop

Open from 8am-1pm ish for the 4th

Happy 4th of July! The Bitterroot continues to fish really well through the cooler weather. The mayfly fishing has been well worth the trip. Bitterroot stones/goldenstones have been out on the warmer days. Baetis, PMDs, and a few green drakes have been the main mayflies. Rusty spinners, D&D cripples, sprout baetis, parachute adams, and last chance cripples have worked well for mayfly patterns. On warm evenings, the caddis hatch has been solid. Have a safe holiday!
