Fishing Report by RedRum Cabo Sportfishing.

Cabo has a great rebound rate, we are three weeks after our first tropical storm of the season and our YellowFin Tuna bite is strong!

The Pacific side and Sea Of Cortez fishing has been great!

YellowFin Tuna have been schooling up with Porpoise and bait from the Gordo banks to the San Jaime Bank. The majority of the fish being around “football size” But with some fishing being in the 40-50 lbs range!

Our water temperature Is in the mid 80’s which makes for great Striped Marlin fishing! We have had a steady Striper bite over the past couple weeks. We are seeing an average size of 100-180 lbs fish! Our captains know the bite and have been able to site one out on the surface when the fish aren’t wanting to strike at a lure.

Inshore fishing has been holding steady with a decent Rooster bite, they have been bigger on size, ranging between 15-45 lbs. We have not been seeing too many Dorado or Wahoo, only a few for our boats in the prior weeks but with warming water we hope will come better game fishing!

Come down and see us here at the office, located right on the Cabo San Lucas Marina! Or book your fishing adventure today online!!
