Fishing Report from New Orleans Style Fishing Charters.
Summer is in full swing and the fishing has been up to par for the month. June is always a good fishing month with the weather warmer and the bait present. The red fish have been hungry and cooperative for everyone. The reds have been averaging 16”-22” with the stray 24″-29″ stud.
A few speckle trout have made their way into the coolers. For the most part they have been just under slot in our area so we have been letting them grow for later months. In the next month or so the trout should be ripe for the pickings.
Being a local and fishing these waters my whole life it still amazes me how different fishing is each year. For the most part we can count on general area and what species for the time of year. Fishing is definitely an adventure and I wouldn’t have it any other way. If you’re looking for your own adventure on the bayou give us a call and ……..
