Fishing Report from New Orleans Style Fishing Charters.
Happy Holidays from the bayou and New Orleans Style Fishing Charters with Capt Jason Shilling . Fall has come and gone ,with the month of October behind us and November rapidly diminishing. I hope that everyone had a happy holiday with family and friends. Its been a good one here on the bayou with the weather cooperating for the most part and the fish following the weathers lead.
Winter is setting in and the fish are changing patterns. With that said we are changing some of the tactics in our methods of catching fish. The duck season has opened up through out Louisiana and with that we tend to stay out of the marshes. Mostly fishing the bays and lakes for speckle trout and some red fish . October and November were good months of fishing red fish but with the low tides and cooling water temps the specks tend to be the target of choice .
Don’t get me wrong we will still continue to chase red fish when the conditions are right for it . Some days will be tough but we will manage and make the best of the conditions . As always we give each and every customer 100% of our efforts to make their trip the best it can be. I want to thank every one for coming out and fishing with me and New Orleans Style Fishing Charters . I also want to thank all the captains who have done an excellent job even when the conditions weren’t favorable.
