Marsh Head was established in 2012 and specializes in year-round inshore charter fishing and seasonal waterfowl, and alligator chartered trips. Located in Shell Beach, Louisiana, a small fishing village in lower St. Bernard Parish. This includes Biloxi marsh, Hopedale, Delacroix, Point. a la Hatch, , and all
barrier islands including Chandeluer Islands.
The coastal marshes of Louisiana are world famous for their bountiful fish species and waterfowl habitat. Our fishing charters target species such as speckled trout, redfish, black drum, flounder and sheepshead, while our our chartered waterfall trips target waterfowl species such as gadwall, pintail, teal, canvasback, redhead and an occasional mallard.
All skill levels welcome from small children to the advanced angler are welcome. We can accommodate large corporate groups, team building activities, bachelor parties, a nice family fishing trip , and anything in between.
Every charter fishing trip includes top of the line rods, reels, tackle and live bait [when in season], fish cleaning, and ice.
The only thing you need to bring is a valid fishing license, which can be obtained locally or online from the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. If you are from out of state, Captain Jason can assist you with a temporary charter license.
Don’t forget food drinks and food , an ice chest to bring fish home, rain gear, sunglasses, and a camera.
