My entire life I have always been taught that nothing is out of reach if you truly want it and put everything you have into reaching that goal. Growing up in Central Arkansas I was surrounded by many outdoor opportunities which eventually led to the deep desire to eventually become a full time professional angler.
I recently graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Environmental Biology. I have since began to focus all my efforts on the FLW Tour and Rayovac Series.
I have a deep support system consisting of family, friends, and a set of truly amazing companies. I pride myself on being humble and always learning from both the people I meet within the sport and the events themselves.
Like many people, I also realize the great importance of passing on the love of fishing to the next generation and enjoy taking any chance to spread the excitement of the outdoors to the younger generation, just as it was to me.
All this in hopes that others will later be given the same great outdoor opportunities. I look forward to the upcoming seasons where I can continue to work hard towards all of these goals, meet great fans, and enjoy the great competition that this sport offers!
I sincerely thank you for visiting my site and hope that you will continue to keep up throughout this upcoming year and many more to come. – Cody K.

In 1974 Porter Everett had a plan to bring a tournament series to Arkansas that would mimic the newly formed national tournament trail, “Bassmaster.” It was Porter’s desire to put into place a cutting edge series that would give the fishermen in Arkansas a platform to hone their competitive fishing skills so that one day they could make the jump to be ready and able to compete on the national pro level.
It worked very well. Through the past 42 years the Mr. Bass of Arkansas Tournaments has been able to keep that inspiration alive and not only have many fishermen gone on to compete, but several have become World Champions. Here are a few of examples of these fishermen.

About Leland’s Lures
Leland’s Lures began in 1997. It started with one lure, the Trout Magnet. Now Leland’s Lures carries many products for trout and crappie enthusiasts. What began as a hobby for Jeff Smith and Todd Gainer, owners of Leland’s Lures, has now developed into something more. These two, with many other friends and family, were catching more fish than anyone else on the stream. The secret kept among these friends for so many years is now available for everyone. “The Secret’s Out!”
Leland’s Lures products are now sold all across the country and regionally through Wal-Mart. We dedicate the success of this company to the Lord who has opened the doors to make all things possible.
The unique 1/64oz shad dart head and split tail allows the lure to fall horizontally rather than vertically. Their entire food source flows down the stream with the current. This is why most jigs do not work for trout. The Trout Magnet, on the other hand, flows naturally with the stream. With constant 1″ to 3″ twitches of the rod tip, the lure looks life-like as it flows downstream. Most jigs would not respond to this type of rod tip motion. For first time users we recommend using colors pink, chartreuse, mealworm and white. The lure is 1 1/4 inches in length.
The Crappie Magnet is slightly larger than the Trout Magnet at 1 1/2 inches in length, allowing you to fish in deeper water. Crappie prefer the look of a straight Crappie Magnet because it looks like their food source. The specially designed split-tail grub allows for a perfectly balanced lure. The most effective way to use this lure is dead-stick the Crappie Magnet at the proper depth. It will outfish other jigs using this method.

I have fly fished the Little Red for about 20 years and have come to think of the river as my home water. Each year has brought a stronger feeling for this river. This caused me to be on the board of Trout Unlimited and serve as president of this chapter in 2009 and 2011. I truly enjoy introducing fishermen to this river and see them return with anticipation of catching more of the Little Red’s wonderful trout. This river gives an angler the chance to catch quality trout and a lot of ‘em. After guiding clients from California to Maine, I hear them say they are amazed at the number of trout they are able catch. My clients range in age from 5 years old (he landed 6 trout on a fly rod) to 85 years young (also caught fish). Men and women, boy and girls, friends, fathers and mothers with sons or daughters, husbands and wives, all have come to the river to enjoy the outdoors. I look forward to you being one of these clients. I hope ya’ll come see me and enjoy the river.

SeaArk Boats, a member of the Correct Craft family has been in business since 1992.
Originally owned by the McClendon family SeaArk has a long tradition of building quality constructed all-welded aluminum boats. Since joining the Correct Craft team in early 2016, SeaArk has continued this path. Currently under the direction of company President Steve Henderson, SeaArk focuses on building over-built style boats. From thicker gauge aluminum, over-sized extruded caprails, extruded 3/16” keel, and heavy-duty ribs, SeaArk lives up to its slogan “Built for a Lifetime” perfectly. SeaArk is well known for creating the World’s Largest Jon Boat in 1994 at 24 feet long and 72” wide. It has since upped the ante by recently creating a 26 foot jon boat.
Not only does SeaArk tote the title of World’s Largest Jon Boat, but it can also claim the title of the Number One Catfishing Boat. Since its introduction in 2009 The ProCat Series has been a top choice for cat fishermen all across the country. Designed specifically for the tournament angler the SeaArk ProCat can be seen more than any other boat on the catfish tournament scene.
Sticking with the over-built style SeaArk also has models available for bass, crappie, mud, bay, duck, and non-specific species. It also has a large lineup in the tunnel/jet tunnel and sport jet market. There really isn’t anything a SeaArk can’t be used for.
Allowing a semi-custom experience when purchasing and designing your boat is another added plus to owning a SeaArk. With a wide array of options and accessories this makes it possible to fit the need of the customer exactly.
Choosing SeaArk is choosing quality workmanship, personal customer service, and one of the best warranties offered in the aluminum boat industry.
